Salon 46

EDIT FROM LAST APPOINTMENT. Incredibly uncomfortable tension from Karen during my last appointment. She totally ruined what should have been a relaxing reprieve after I worked a stressful shift at the hospital. Looking forward to escaping workplace personnel tensions, I went in to Salon 46 for my scheduled appointment for highlights with my stylist, Stella. Salon 46 closes early and it's become clear that some of the stylists can't wait to close up shop earlier than they should. My appointment with Stella was a little later in the afternoon (because normal people don't take time off work for hair), with the understanding that we would most likely be staying after the Salon had officially closed. Karen told Stella to wrap it up a couple times (referring to her completing my highlights) while she was working on her own client's hair. There was a notable tone of distaste in Karen's voice. As Stella took her time to do the job to best of her ability, Karen became more and more agitated,

I cannot say enough about my experiences at Salon 46! I feel like Britt has worked magic on my hair. For years, I've been trying to cover gray with highlights that would quickly turn brassy. It's been frustrating, and I was never truly happy with the color. I was super nervous about trying someone new, but I felt like Britt listened to what I really wanted -- a lower maintenance solution that honored my natural hair color and tones while my grays came in. She proposed a plan for blending my grays, and I was completely stunned at the final result. She totally delivered! I get compliments on my hair all the time now, and my hair feels more true to who I am. While the final result was fantastic, I also really loved that Britt worked hard to make me comfortable, to ease my nerves, and to find a solution that worked for my lifestyle.
